Code of Conduct

MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE

The Management Committee is responsible for the smooth running of the market, therefore will be required to uphold all policies and regulations. They will not show any bias to any person who approaches them in their role as committee members.

They will endeavor to show respect to other committee members and staff employed. They are required to work as professional team players.

 

THE STAFF/VOLUNTEERS

The staff will support each other and the committee with the requirements set in place by various bodies.  They will show no bias to any person who approaches them whilst being employed with TCCM.  They are required to be respectful to the committee and other staff members as well as to the public.  They will endeavor to work as professional team players. All staff members are to be aware of the Work, Health and Safety Practice Act and Safe Working Procedures

 

STALLHOLDERS/EMPLOYEES

Stallholders are required to abide by regulations and policies, set in place by TCCM \Lismore City Council and the Food Act. Stallholders are required to have in place and on site Safe Working Procedures and Emergency Plans relating to

The Occupational Health and Safety Act for employers and employees.  No stallholders will sell illegal or copyright products.

They are also not permitted to sell tobacco, alcohol or domestic pets.

 

THE PUBLIC

The public are required to abide by regulations/policies relating to behavior and conduct set out by

The Channon Craft Market and Lismore City Council and appropriate bodies.

 

ALL GRIEVANCES/COMPLAINTS WILL BE APPROACHED IN A CONFIDENTIAL AND PROFESSIONAL MANNER

Under no circumstances will abuse be tolerated by any parties

Any such person acting in this manner will be approached by the Management and appropriate action will be taken.
